1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to benformnhouse.com (the “Site”), operated by the Ben Wieman State House Candidate Committee (“the Campaign”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Campaign Contribution Rules & Compliance

All financial contributions made to the Campaign via ActBlue or mailed check must comply with Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board regulations and state law:

• Eligibility: You must be a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
• Personal Funds: Contributions must be made from your own personal funds and not provided by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
• Prohibited Sources: Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, national banks, foreign nationals (without green cards), and registered PACs/political committees without prior authorization are strictly prohibited.
• Contribution Limits: Individual contributions to a Minnesota State House candidate are subject to statutory limits of $1,000 per election cycle (Minn. Stat. § 10A.27).
• Tax Deductibility: Contributions to political campaigns are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.

3. Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR) Program

Contributions to Ben Wieman State House Candidate Committee may qualify for Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program (Minn. Stat. § 290.06).

• Eligible Minnesota voters who contribute to the campaign can receive a full refund from the Minnesota Department of Revenue of up to $75 for an individual or $150 for a married couple per calendar year.
• The Campaign provides qualifying donors with an official Form EP-3 receipt to file with the state.
• Eligibility for the refund is governed by Minnesota Department of Revenue rules. The Campaign is not responsible for individual state tax filing determinations.

4. SMS & Mobile Messaging Terms

If you provide your mobile telephone number and opt in to receive text messages from the Campaign:

• You consent to receive campaign updates, event reminders, volunteer alerts, and voting information from the Ben Wieman campaign.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to any message received. Text HELP for support or email ben@benformnhouse.com.

5. Intellectual Property & Content

All content on this Site—including candidate photos, text, campaign logos, graphics, audio, video, and design—is the property of the Ben Wieman State House Candidate Committee or used under permission. Supporters and press are encouraged to download and distribute authorized media kit materials and official literature located in our News & Media Center for positive campaign promotion and journalistic coverage.

6. Third-Party Links & Services

This website includes links to trusted third-party websites and tools, such as ActBlue for donation processing, Minnesota Secretary of State portals for voter registration and polling place lookup, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy policies of third-party websites.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

This Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to ensure all information regarding election dates, voting regulations, and campaign events is accurate and up to date, the Campaign makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted site access or absolute error-free operation.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
